First day.. ready to pin trade and celebrate St. Patricks Day !

SO MUCH TO BE SAID ABOUT OUR TRIP TO DISNEY… WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME ! LOTS OF FUN, FOOD, RELAXATION, SWIMMING, PIN TRADING, FIREWORKS, WALKING, SMILES, LAUGHS . . . COUNTING DOWN UNTIL WE CAN GO AGAIN !

LOOKING FOR LAST MINUTE TIPS AND TRICKS. . . ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

**side note: I am one of the moms that has my kids match in all functions, holidays, celebrations, photos, events. Its a sickness, I know… but I love it. Anywho…. the point of this side note was to say WTH is up with there always being a million beautiful spring dresses and exactly 3 choices for boys ? ? ?**

Back on track . . .  So the girl was in the bathroom, and the boy and I were waiting/browsing right next to the bathroom door. I heard someone talking on their cell phone coming up behind me, so I moved over, knowing she needed to get by.

I turn to my side, and there is a little person, dwarf, midget, person of under average stature. Please feel free to tell me the politically correct term, because I don’t want to offend . .  My son, turns to me, wide eyed, as only a 5 year old boy can, and says   ~ ~ ~ ~MAMA ! ! !

I know what’s coming. Well I do not know exactly, but I know it is something that should not be heard by anyone that did not give birth to this child. So I clamp “the hand” (any parent knows the hand, the hand on the shoulder that says “stop immediately, or face the wrath”. Amazingly, he stopped.  Waited for her to pass, and then in a stage whisper said.

She must not have drank all her milk.

Exit, stage left.

A prime example . . .

My son. . .  crazy duck that he is . . . was walking around last night wearing nothing but his jamma bottoms. Now this is not really a big deal, except for the fact that it was quite chilly.  So I decided that I should parent the boy and told him that he needed to put on a shirt.  He told me he was not cold, I explained that he needed to cover up his nibbles (don’t even ask) . . . WHY DID HE WALK IN TO THE OTHER ROOM AND COME BACK OUT WITH TWO PIECES OF MASKING TAPE PLACED STRATEGICALLY OVER HIS “NIBBLES” ?

I mean seriously, I could not even get upset. He did what I asked.

I am figuring I might as well just jump in to this whole public blogging thing. . .  Here is my current thing that I am pondering. . . 

I think that there is a difference between blogging information in hopes that it will help others, and blogging information for attention. If someone has some internal issues going on, and they usually manifest with some not so great attention seeking behavior, then blogging about those behaviors…. is that just more attention seeking… or is it really just sharing ?

I read a blog recently of someone who just basically posted all of their “issues” The comments after the post were 99 percent supportive and kind stating what a great thing it was to be so honest. So I guess my other question is this… is there such thing as too much honesty ?

Seems like I am spending a bit more time commenting and reading blogs, so I figured I should have a

public blog too ! This first post is super short… I am hoping to *pop* it up so I can figure out how this
